CBSE Class 10 and Class 12 exams will be held between May 4 and June 10, while Practical examinations will be conducted by schools from March 1. This was confirmed by Union Education Minister Ramesh Pokhriyal Nishank on December 31 last. Meanwhile, schools are mulling to conduct multiple pre-board exams between January and May to better prepare students for the CBSE Class 10, Class 12 board exams 2021.
As per a Times of India report, the principals of many schools told this newspaper that they are inclined towards conducting multiple pre-board exams to ensure that students are well prepared for the exams.

“There won’t be any change in the schedule of pre-board examination. We have decided to conduct a pre-board exam each month till May so that students start preparing for CBSE Exams 2021 from now itself. This is to avoid last minute preparations,” TOI quoted the principal of a Hyderabad school as saying.
He said the schools now have enough time to prepare students for both practical and board examinations.
Earlier, the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) on its official Twitter handle issued a notification pertaining to CBSE board exams. Here are details that students should not miss out:

Earlier, Union Minister of Education Ramesh Pokhriyal ‘Nishank’ announced that the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) will conduct board exams for classes 10 and 12 physically from May 4 to June 10 next year.
“We are also working on a solution in this regard for CBSE schools in over 25 countries and will have an update soon,” he said, adding that the dates have been fixed after considering the suggestions given by students, teachers and parents. Several schools have already conducted pre-board exams online to keep the students prepared.
The CBSE had earlier this month also announced that board exams in 2021 will be conducted in written mode and not online.
